With over 30 years of international experience, Marcus is known for his elite-level expertise, innovative coaching delivery, and commitment to athlete development. A Loughborough University graduate of Sports Science, World Cup Swimming finalist and former professional triathlete, he has coached olympic athletes, national champions, World and European Medalists at the elite level, which also includes a 47.7 second 100m freestyle champion and the 2nd fastest Ironman athlete of all-time (2023). Experience also includes being a physical education professional teacher (25 years full time), Loughborough University team coach, and a temporary head coach at Schwimmclub Uster, where the team won the national team championships. As a trusted consultant, he enhances teaching and coaching programs for clubs, schools and sports teams, ensuring optimal performance. His holistic training philosophy—integrates all the important biomarkers for aging and performance as well as recovery strategies, sports nutrition, and mental preparation which sets him apart as a leader in this field.
